Nestled in a dramatic dip on Hadrian’s Wall near Crag Lough, you can see how this iconic tree has inspired a vast amount of Northumberland art.
Sometimes referred to as the Robin Hood tree after it was cast in the film Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, this charismatic tree creates an air of mystery. The bare branches have been delicately painted to look realistic yet artistic.
