Sycamore Gap Spring framed ceramic tile is a beautiful painting by local North East artist Emily Ward of one of her favourite Northumberland places.
Blooming daffodils and flowers surround the tree with bright shades of yellow and orange, seemingly floating in front of the famous Robin Hood tree. The sky is a warm blue with fluffy white clouds, signifying a fresh spring day.
About Sycamore Gap
Sycamore Gap is a dramatic dip on Hadrian’s Wall, located near Crag Lough. Winning the Tree of the Year in 2016, the Robin Hood tree is one of the most photographed trees in England.
As well as featuring in the Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves film, Sycamore Gap also has featured in Bryan Adams’ music video and the TV series Top of the Pops, as well as TV crime show Vera. You can definitely see why it would be so popular from this framed tile!

The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.

Colours may vary as each tile is printed individually.
