Temple of Fame, Studley Royal Water Garden framed ceramic tile is by North East artist Emily Ward from her Fountains Abbey art print and gift range.
The ceramic tile which is printed and hand pressed in Emily Ward's art studio near Newcastle is from her portfolio of art form Yorkshire.
The Roman styled columns have hints of green from the leafy vegetation that surrounds the temple. The leaves are dotted with pinks and yellow as if it is raining colour over the Georgian folly.
The pretty flowers that grow in front of the round rotunda look lovely and bright with the glaze of the ceramic tile.

Studley Royal Water Garden
along with Fountains Abbey, near Ripon in Yorkshire, is a designated World Heritage Site. The 800 acre site features include the largest Cistercian abbey ruins in Europe, 18th century landscaped gardens, and a Jacobean mansion. The estate is managed and owned by The National Trust.
The River Skell runs down from the abbey to the garden which has been crafted into canals, cascades and tranquil moon ponds. The Cistercian monks changed the course of the river up by the abbey, the Aislabie's continued this work to create a scenic landscaped garden.
Temple of Fame is on a hilltop on the south side of Moon Pond overlooking the water gardens. The Roman Doric styled columns are made of wood. Originally built in 1729, it was moved and rebuilt between 1770-1780 for William Aislabie.
