and Fountains Abbey near Ripon in Yorkshire, is a designated World Heritage Site. It is owned and managed by The National Trust.
This 800 acre site features the largest Cistercian abbey ruins in Europe, 18th century landscaped gardens, and a Jacobean mansion.
