Temple of Piety, Studley Royal Water Garden ceramic tile with easel is from North East artist Emily Ward's Yorkshire art gift range. This art tile from Emily's original art, is printed and hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle Upon Tyne.
The reflection of the temple shimmers on Emily's purple haze over Moon Pond. Dainty purple, pink and blue flowers seem to float over the water.

Studley Royal Water Garden and Fountains Abbey are situated near Ripon in Yorkshire. Owned and managed by The National Trust, it is a designated World Heritage Site. This 800 acre site features include the largest Cistercian abbey ruins in Europe, 18th century landscaped gardens, and a Jacobean mansion.
The gardens and park reflect every stage in the evolution of English garden fashion, from the late 17th century to the 1780s and beyond.
The Temple of Piety was built around 1737.
Each ceramic tile is made from an original painting by North East Artist Emily Ward.
Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
Ceramic Tile including the wooden easel is 15cm high x 10cm wide.
