The Alnwick Gardens Grand Cascade is an original painting by local North East artist Emily Ward. Emily has added this delightful painting to her range of artwork from the stunning Alnwick Gardens.
Emily's art print of the Grand Cascade at The Alnwick Garden has quite a tranquil feel to it, as you gaze at the cascading water. Gentle tones of orange and pink glisten across the water.
Calming tones of purple colour the sky, which can be seen peeping through the deep greens of the shrubs.

The Grand Cascade at The Alnwick Garden
in Northumberland, is said to be the largest in the UK. Originally a derelict plot, this area has been beautifully restored and landscaped. It was designed by Jacques Wirtz a Belgian designer and opened in 2001 and has made a lasting impression on the beautiful gardens.
The Grand Cascade is set amongst curved stone walls and has steps leading up to the top from the bottom.
Visitors are delighted by the water's choregraphed displays from the 120 jets. These jets display a volcanic eruption every half an hour with the sound of the water being heard throughout the gardens.
