The Baltic Framed Ceramic Tile
The Baltic Framed Tile is a beautiful painting of the Quayside art centre by Emily Ward, local North East artist.
Emily has used warm toned colours in this painting which creates a cozy sunset vibe around The Baltic. The soft pink in the sky compliments the colour of the art centre, with the flowers adding even more colour. It is a bright vivid painting of the landmark building which would look gorgeous in any room.
About The Baltic
The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art is the UK’s largest contemporary art institution. Since opening in 2002, it has presented over 226 exhibitions of work by 476 artists.
The centre is a converted flour mill on the south bank of the River Tyne in Gateshead alongside the Millennium Bridge. It is a popular Quayside landmark which attracts many visitors both local and tourists.
Baltic strives to create a greater understanding of the world through inspiring contemporary art which means a lot for individuals and communities. They also work with charities to ‘poverty proof’ their organisation and create a more inclusive community.
Emily’s Baltic painting can be found in an extensive gift range which can be found HERE.

The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
