The Blue Bridge at Johnston Garden postcard is by North East artist Emily Ward from her art portfolio of Scotland.
Surrounding the bridge the scene is bursting with colourful blooms and greenery on Emily’s art postcard.
The background consists of dense foliage in various shades of green with bright splashes of paint.
Delicate pink and purple flowers line the edges of the bridge adding a touch of romance to this artwork.
Sunlight peeps through the trees, capturing the charm and picturesque setting of the blue bridge.

Johnston Gardens in Aberdeen is a beautifully landscaped small city park. The park was gifted to the city in 1936 by the original owners, the Johnson House estate.
The garden has won the Britain in Bloom competition numerous times. The gardens are full of streams, ponds, rockeries, waterfalls and the picturesque blue bridge.
The rustic arched bridge was originally a wooden bridge but has since been replaced. It is in the Japanese themed garden and is a popular spot for wedding photos.
The park is a delightful oasis in spring when it is filled with colour from the rhododendrons, heathers, spring bulbs and blossom.
