The vibrant hues of the stunning sunset over the history and science museum turn the sky red in Emily's lovely art print. Sunlight glistens off the windows on the iconic building.
Pretty pink, blue and yellow flowers grow wildly in front of Victorian building adding a cheerful feel to Emily's art.

The Discovery Museum is housed in Blandford House, a grand Victorian building on Blandford Square. Previously this was the old Cooperative Wholesale Society building. Built in 1899 it is a Grade II listed building.
The Discovery Museum started life in 1934 as the Municipal Museum of Science and Technology in Exhibition Park in Newcastle. It was the first science museum outside of London. It was installed in the temporary pavilion and eventually moved to Blandford House in 1981. The museum was relaunched as The Discovery Museum in 1994.
