The Glasshouse - Framed Ceramic Tile
This gorgeous painting of The Glasshouse International Centre for Music by local artist Emily Ward would look amazing in any room of your home.
Slightly hidden behind brightly coloured flowers, the uniquely shaped building of The Glasshouse International Centre for Music is reflecting the orange sky.
Emily Ward has many paintings of landmarks along the Quayside including the bridges, but The Glasshouse is one of her favourites. The flowers and paint splatters is what makes Emily’s art unique, just like the building style is unique to The Glasshouse.
About The Glasshouse
The Glasshouse in Gateshead is a concert venue and it is located on the south bank of the River Tyne. It is also a part of the Gateshead Quays development, which is where the Millennium Bridge and the Baltic originated.
The building is made of stainless steel and curved glass, its unique design allows it to reflect the River and the other buildings surrounding it.
Each year, The Glasshouse welcomes over 2 million visitors and holds more than 400 concerts. It is a place where emerging artists are nurtured through dedicated programmes and workshops.
Emily Ward has an extensive gift range for this Glasshouse painting which can be found HERE.
Ceramic Framed Tile
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
Each frame is 27 x 27 x 5cm
Colours may vary as each tile is printed individually.
