The Mill, Fountains Abbey Bone China Cup has been created from original artwork by local North East artist Emily Ward. All of Emily's bone china cups are hand pressed in her art studio in North Tyneside.
The water glistens with a purple hue reflecting over this old grain mill from the evening sun. Emily has given a splash of colour to the stillness of the stream leading you up to the ancient mill.
Dainty little daisies grow wildly along the waters edge.
This art cup would make a lovely gift.

Fountains Mill was built in the 12th century and is the oldest building on the estate at Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire.
Built to grind grain for the monastery by the Cistercians, it was in continuous use until 1927. The building had been modified and adapted over the years. With a long history, the building had been used as a timber sawmill, a monastic granary and a home for refugees over the years.
The Mill was restored in 2001 and hosts an interactive exhibition nowadays.
