The Mill at Fountains Abbey framed ceramic tile is by North East artist Emily Ward from her Yorkshire art print and gift range. The ceramic tile is printed and hand pressed in Emily Ward's art studio near Newcastle.
The ancient mill house can be seen reflecting off the tranquil stream which is lined with dainty daisies.
Shimmers of purple from the evening sun swirl through the fluffy clouds giving a gorgeous glow to the stillness of the water.
This art ceramic tile in a box frame would make a lovely gift.

Fountains Mill was the former corn mill at Fountains Abbey which is near Ripon in North Yorkshire. Regarded as the oldest building on the estate it was built by the Cistercians in the 12th century.
Over the years the building has been adapted and modified and has operated as a timber sawmill, a monastic granary, a mason's workshop and as a home for refugees. It survived the closure of Fountains Abbey and continued to mill grain until 1927 when it was closed down.
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
Each frame is 27 x 27 x 5cm
Colours may vary as each tile is printed individually.
