The Mill, Fountains Abbey Limited Edition Print
The Mill, Fountains Abbey limited edition print has been created by artist Emily Ward from original artwork in her Yorkshire and Humberside art range. This lovely art print is also available framed.
Shimmers of purple glisten over the waters edge, reflecting from the evening sun to give this art print a relaxing feel to it. The purple haze swirling through the sky is speckled with Emily's colourful splashes of paint.
The ancient mill house can be seen reflecting off the tranquil stream which is lined with dainty daisies.

Fountains Abbey near Ripon in North Yorkshire is one of the largest and best preserved ruined Cistercian monasteries in England.
Fountains Mill is the oldest building on the estate and dates back to the 12th century. Build by Cistercian monks to grind grain for the monastery. There were two waterwheels installed, which were run from a leat taken from the Rover Skell.
The mill operated until 1927 when it was closed down. It was restored in 2001 and now has an interactive exhibition.
