The National Trust Shop in York Bone China Cup has been created from original artwork by local North East artist Emily Ward.
The blue shop front looks warming and enticing on Emily's art cup which is hand pressed in her studio. A golden glow reflects off the historic archway near to York Minster.
Colourful splashes of paint make it look like there is quirky purple leaves growing from the tree.

in York is situated just around the corner from Treasurer's House in the historic precinct on Goodramgate. From the shop you have a view looking over York Minster.
Archive material shows there has been a shop and information centre on the site dating back to 1930.
Frank Green a wealthy industrialist donated the building to the National Trust in 1969 along with Treasurer's House and other important buildings in York.
