Tommy Memorial Bone China Cup is from original artwork by local North East artist Emily Ward.
Emily has created a simply stunning picture of this poignant metal memorial of a soldier from the first World War.
Tommy as the statue is affectionately known in the local community, is awash with rich, vibrant and meaningful poppies. Red rays of the sun glow over the hills and fields casting a dramatic deepness to this impressive statue.

Standing on the Green on Seaham’s seafront in South Tyneside this impressive 9ft high statue was created by a local artist Ray Lonsdale. Originally entitled ‘1101’ after the Armistice which went into effect at 11am on November 11, 1918.
The WW1 memorial, installed in May 2014 was originally intended to be just a temporary feature. Local residents rallied round to raise funds so that they could successfully retain the statue which is situated near the town's War Memorial.
