Treasurer's House art fridge magnet has been produced from original art by Emily Ward, an artist from the North East. The art fridge magnet has been locally hand pressed in Emily's art studio.
Dainty blue and purple flowers grow wildly at the side of the manicured lawn of this historic house in Emily's art. This grand listed building has a pink sheen from the evening sunlight that glows over it.
Warming oranges, yellows and reds from the striking sunset add a vibrancy to this lovely fridge magnet.

The Treasurer's House
is tucked away behind York Minster. The National Trust own and manage the house and gardens. There has been a house on the site since 1091 when the Archbishop appointed the first treasurer to manage York Minster's money. Nothing remains of this house today.
The oldest remains of Treasurers House still in existence, is an external wall which forms part of the boutique Gray’s Court Hotel. It is believed to date back to the 12th Century. By 1419 there was another new building functioning as the Treasurers House. The house was remodelled various times , notably the biggest changes were when Frank Green bought the house in 1897.
