Treasurer's House ceramic tile with easel is from North East artist Emily Ward's Yorkshire art gift range. All of the ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's studio in North Shields.
The warming oranges, yellows and reds from the striking sunset pop with colour with the glaze of the ceramic tile.
This grand listed building has been given a pink sheen from the evening sunlight that glows over it.
Dainty blue and purple flowers grow wildly at the side of the secluded lawn of this historic house in Emily's art.

Treasurer's House in the city of York provides lovely views of York Minster from it's secluded and well maintained gardens.
It is said that the previous owner Frank Green may haunt the premises. When he gave the house to the National Trust in 1930 he did so on the condition that the rooms would be preserved as he had intended. He vowed to haunt the building if any changes were made.
Nowadays any spooky occurrences are said to be an angry Frank fulfilling his promise, if any of the items in the house are moved or changed for conservation reasons
Each ceramic tile is made from an original painting by North East Artist Emily Ward.
Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
Ceramic Tile including the wooden easel is 15cm high x 10cm wide.
