White Horse at Kilburn coaster is by local North East artist Emily Ward and has been produced on a FSC rated hardback coaster. This art coaster can also be purchased in a set of four which is presented in a gift box.
This lovely art coaster is of the White Horse on the North York Moors, surrounded by the rich greens of the countryside.

White Horse, Kilburn
The White Horse
is situated on a steep south westerly slope on Roulston Scar in the North York Moors National Park. It is a iconic landmark in North Yorkshire.
Originally designed and financed by a Thomas Taylor a local to Kilburn who was a Victorian businessman. The village schoolmaster with a group of helpers cut the shape of the horse into the hillside.
6 tons of limestone was deposited onto the grey rock to whiten it. Chalk chippings have later been added.
