Windermere canvas print has been created by local North East artist Emily Ward. Lake Windermere is the first of Emily Ward’s Lake District paintings.

Emily’s Lake District art is rich with deep purples and pinks to create an atmospheric mood.

She has enhanced the bright colours by adding a mix of flowers to this piece of Cumbrian Art. Lake Windermere Art is very popular with North West Artists and many tourists.

About Lake Windermere

Lake Windermere is the largest Lake in the lake District. It is more than 11 miles long and a mile wide, at its widest point.

Windermere has been one of the most popular places to holiday and is packed with holiday cottages and apartments.

Lake Windermere is on the edge of the village of Windermere. The village is packed with gift shops and quirky tea shops.

Each Canvas Print is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your canvas is actually a print no two prints are identical. Emily hand finishes the canvas prints by adding extra paint to the print.

The canvas is mounted on a wooden frame. The wooden frame is approximately 2cm deep so will fit snugly against any wall.
