Whitley Bay Artist

Emily Ward has joined many Whitley Bay artists to paint original paintings of St Mary’s Lighthouse. St Mary’s Lighthouse is located just off the North East coast near Whitley Bay.

Hundreds of artists have painted this iconic scene. Emily is just one. Emily may be just one of many artists but her paintings of St Mary’s Lighthouse are very distinctive. Emily Ward art varies from other Whitley Bay artists. She captures the movement of the waves. This is done with a splashing technique that Emily has developed over the years.

The waves often come crashing up the sides of St Mary’s Lighthouse. Emily captures the movement of the waves with splashes of colour.

Spanish City Whitley Bay

Another beautiful landmark is the Spanish City. This impressive Victorian white building with its famous dome roofing also sits on the edge of the Whitley Bay coast line. After years of refurbishment the building has reopened housing a Champagne Bar and an up market Fish and Chip shop.

There are also other shops in the venue. One named the Love of the North. The Love of the North is a small art and gift shop. There are many Whitley Bay artists  display and sell their art work and gift range. Links Art Gallery Whitley Bay

The Links Art Gallery is also located on the Whitley Bay Coast line. The building can be found on the promenade along the famous Whitley Bay beach, The Links Art Gallery is not only a gallery for hundreds of Whitley Bay Artists but a café as well. The café is well known for its Italian Coffee. The gallery also sells a gift range made from Whitley Bay Artists. https://www.linksgallery.org/
